A Proposed Group Guidance Program To Modify The Juvenile Delinquents Behavior At The Reform Houses In The Sultanate Of Oman

Abstract

The aim of this study is to build a proposed collective guidance program to modify the behavior of juvenile delinquents at the Reform House in the Sultanate of Oman. It is part of an extensive study by the researcher. The problem is that the implementation of reform tasks is often fraught with difficulties arising through how specialists deal with the juvenile, or by failing to follow the best approach appropriate to the situation of each juvenile. In addition, socialization may instill counter-evaluation trends when it incites anti-reform and evaluation trends in juvenile psychology. The researcher adopted the analytical descriptive method. The proposed guidance program was based on theoretical literature and studies related to the construction of behavioral guidance programs, including Jihad Ayash (2009) and Al-Siyabi (2011). The findings revealed the formation of a proposed guiding program consisting of (11) guiding sessions, the duration of the session (80) minutes, applied two sessions a week, to build the guiding relationship between the events and the guide, and the events themselves, and define the rules and duties and rights among them, And to qualify them as good citizens in society.

 

ملخص البحث

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بناء برنامج إرشاد جمعي مقترح لتعديل السلوك لدى الأحداث الجانحين في دور الإصلاح بسلطنة عمان. وهي جزأ من دراسة موسعة يقوم بها الباحث. تكمن المشكلة في أنّ تطبيق مهمات الاصلاح غالباً ما يكتنفها صعوبات ناجمة عن كيفية تعامل المختصين مع الحدث، أو في عدم اتباع الأسلوب الأمثل الذي يتلاءم مع حالة كل حدث. إضافة إلى أنَّ التنشئة الاجتماعية ربما تعمل على غرس اتجاهات مضادة للتقويم، حينما تعمل على غرس اتجاهات مضادة للاصلاح والتقويم في نفسية الأحداث. اعتمد الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم بناء البرنامج الإرشادي المقترح بالاستناد إلى الأدب النظري والدراسات المتعلقة ببناء برامج إرشادية لتعديل السلوك، منها دراسات، جهاد عياش (2009 ) والسيابي (2011). أسفرت النتائج عن تكوين برنامج إرشادي مقترح يتكون من (11) جلسة إرشادية، مدة الجلسة (80) دقيقة، تطبق بواقع جلستين أسبوعياً، لبناء العلاقة الإرشادية بين الأحداث والمرشد، وبين الأحداث أنفسهم، وتحديد القواعد والواجبات والحقوق فيما بينهم، وتعمل من أجل تعديل السلوكيات غير السوية لدى الأحداث، وتأهيلهم كمواطنين صالحين في المجتمع.
