Balancing Organizational Behavior: A Review on the Perspectives of Academic Staff Ethos
Abstract
To attain a desired perspectives of academic staff alliance in any work setting, several factors are often considered. This paper discussed how organizational behavior affects academic staff by extensively reviewing research conducted in this aspect. Although much research has been conducted on motivation, commitment, and task distribution. However, few have made theoretical integration among academic staff. Attention was given on balancing among these factors to their connectivity on academic staff ethos. Therefore, extensive literature was reviewed to show the gap within and proposed that the factors need to be integrated. The review concluded that to achieve a balanced organizational behavior motivation, commitment and task distribution is required to be integrated.
